πβ¨ Instructional Writing Fun in P3/4! β¨π
13th Nov 2025
Our P3/4 class were busy too, working together to write a shared piece on how to make a jam sandwich. After discussing all the key features of instructional writing, we decided it was time to try it out for real.
We quickly discovered just how important clear, specific instructions are… especially when Miss Crampsie tipped out all the bread instead of just two slices—all because our instructions weren’t specific enough! π
What a fun, hands-on lesson to deepen our understanding of instructional writing. We can’t wait to see the brilliant independent instructions the children create next! πβοΈπ‘
