We started by making a sandwich with Judith and talked about why clear, simple steps are so important.

We loved reading “How to Grow a Unicorn” — a brilliant way to explore magical instructions!
🍓 Modelled & Shared Writing
We modelled how to write instructions for making a jam sandwich, then worked together on a shared write about how to make hot chocolate. The children showed fantastic ideas! ☕️🤎
📝 Guided Group Writing
In our groups, we completed a guided piece and the children worked so well together. Super teamwork! 🌟
🔮 Lava Lamp Fun
To finish, we watched a video on how to make a lava lamp… and of course, we just had to try it! The excitement was unreal! 😄✨

We can’t wait for next week when the children will complete their independent instructional writing. They are more than ready! 💪✏️
