This week our P3/4 class began exploring length using non-standard units. We talked about estimation and how it’s like making an educated guess before we measure.
The children then got busy around the classroom, using multilink cubes to measure different objects. We learned how important it is to: 📏 Start measuring from the bottom 🧩 Make sure there are no gaps between the cubes 📐 Remember that non-standard measures aren’t exact, but they help us understand the idea of length
