This afternoon P4/5 learnt about the different states of matter. We watched a video about how molecules change and get more tangled together as a liquid changes into a solid.
They then got the opportunity to change a gloopy liquid into a stretchy slime by using glue, baking powder, food colouring and eye contact lens solution.
The special ingredient 'borac acid' was inside the contact lens solution. This caused the chemical reaction that turned our liquid into slime! 😁😁
